After a hot-air balloon ride for my mum in her last months with terminal cancer (one of her final wishes), we organised a very intimate breakfast with family and friends in Lachlans. The breakfast was wonderful. Very few could finish their meal it was that large, and we all felt it was like a traditional country breakfast. After a very early start am) to our morning ballooning, and chasing a spot to be able to take off from, dining together over a champagne breakfast is a memory we will always remember. The private dining room was beautifully and tastefully decorated, and the waiting staff were sensitive to our needs. They also treated my two daughters (the only children present) very kindly. The verandah area was extremely relaxing. We ended up spending hours there and the time just flew by.

We had our wedding reception in the beautiful maquee just behind Old Government House and absolutely loved it!

Good place for wedding or function.... but the food menu can be expand a bit!

The location is perfect and whilst the menu is simple, the food is delicious. Great by the open fire on a cold winters day or in the shade of the verandah in summer. The staff are attentive, parking is a breeze.
