What can I say I was pleasantly surprised! The food was fabulous, I have not had such good cafe style Italian in a long time, especially at this price.
What we ate: For an entree we had the antipasto. It was not your normal ya yas olives and sundried tomatoes. They had a large assortment of homemade pickled vegies, fresh roasted capsicum, fish cocktails, prawn cutlets, sweet little black olives. Severed with crusty Italian bread. For my main i have the traditional Italian cafe gnocchi with gorgonzola cheese. They had added some fresh baby spinach and this melt in your mouth chicken. MMM. Others on my table had a penne pasta with spicy sausage and a king prawn dish. They also said it was fantastic. Unlike other cafes in the area the food was not overly large it was just right. We all had room to squeeze in some desert. Oh i must say they made home made ice tea for us on the spot, with lime! Now desert, i had mango crme Brule, it was to die for. My counterparts had gelato pyramid. Overall the food was fantastic. I have paid allot more for food of less quality. Fantastic work chef!!!
The service: Unfortunately I was worried before or food arrived as to of the wait staff dropped plates form other tables as it was being cleared. The 2 female wait staff were pleasant but un-experienced. Unfortunately both of them have trouble with understanding English as well. The males wait staff was fantastic and pleasant. The service overall was pleasant and you felt you also had some privacy.
I would highly recommend La Bocca Cafe. ****

spaciousness leads to it being very noisy at times, waitresses are friendly but dont ask for anything our table had no cutlery to eat the food and then it took three times to get napkins. they have a very interesting interpretation to what a plate of antipasto should be. the veal dish though very nice is over sweet. overall though a fairly pleasant dining experience and extremelly inexpensive. could just do better with the finer points of dining.

I loved this spacious and modern restaurant.The food was priced well and super tasty Italian food.I loved the kind and caring staff. I would definately visit again and again!

This Italian REstaurant is really good, especially the traditional lasagnes and spaghetti bolognaise. I would definately recommend the tiramisu, its my favourite!
