Went into Officeworks after some writeable discs for the computer. After fumbling my way through the section not really knowing what I neded for photos and music downloads, I had to ask. The young female assistant then had to ask someone else, who then in turn said "Oh I think they will be right, they all pretty much do the same thing" I am no guru on computer gear but at least I KNEW that they didnt "pretty much do the same thing" When I asked could they be returned if they were incorrect I was told yes providing I hadnt opened the packaging. Hmmmm........how do I check that they are correct? I will consider my shopping options in future.

Great range of products but staff need better training. Had some problems with ordering a product in a while ago. They wanted me to pay for the item first (when it was uncertain whether they would actually be able to get the right product in). A month went by before I heard back from them, they had received my items. However, when I went to pick them up it was the wrong item. Ended up getting a refund but was a lot of hassle for something that should have been so simple.
On the up side, though not always entirely knowledgeable, their print centre staff are quite friendly.

The best things about office works are the prices and the large selection. Sadly, it's virtually impossible to get a staff member's attention and at times it even seems as though they are trying to avoid you. When you do get one to chat to you, they know very little about the products they are selling. I love this shop's selection but I rarely feel welcome.
